Brad combines his 32-year career as a NASA aerospace engineer and scientist, including astronomical studies of the universe, with his musical and pastoral experience to offer a compelling perspective on integrating faith and science. His transition from NASA to full-time ministry and music enables a unique fusion in connecting God’s two books—the Bible and His book of nature. Additionally, Brad and Joanie present original Christian music that supplements the theme of integrating faith and science.
Brad's Early Life: The Basement Apollo CM Mockup
Long before he was a NASA engineer, Perry gained national attention for his dedication to space exploration.
As a high school student in North Carolina, Perry built a full-scale interior mockup of the Apollo Command Module in his basement.
Apollo 16 Simulation: He entered the simulator on April 16 and remained inside for the 11-day duration of the Apollo 16 mission, following the astronauts’ duties in real-time from launch until splashdown on April 27.
