We will not all fall asleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will all be changed. (1 Corinthians 15:51-52 CSB)
Our God knows the location of every bone, every fragment, every molecule, and every grain of dust that makes each one of us. After all, He created us. Because of the resurrection of Christ, the process of death will one day be reversed, and death will be swallowed up in victory.
When God makes a change in us through salvation, it is immediate and complete. In the end, God will do something extraordinarily supernatural to us and we will be changed in an instant from mortal to immortal.
It is a day to look forward to, not to fear if we have surrendered our lives to Him.
“Bible teaching about the Second Coming of Christ was thought of as “doomsday” preaching. But not anymore. It is the only ray of hope that shines as an ever brightening beam in a darkening world.” ― Billy Graham
