And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.” (Revelation 5:5 ESV)

Lions symbolize power, fierceness, and majesty. Lions are the king of the beasts, and the Lion of the Tribe of Judah is the King of Kings. The Lord is not afraid of His enemies. He protects His people and does not allow them to be conquered.
We belong to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We belong to the Lion of Judah. He is the ultimate, true, and eternal King. He is the roaring lion who is strong and majestic and will protect His own!
Never forget that!
"The Word of God is like a lion. You don’t have to defend a lion. All you have to do is let the lion loose and the lion will defend itself." – Charles Spurgeon
