“As for you, go your way until the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days, you will rise again to receive the inheritance set aside for you.”
(Daniel 12:13 TLV)
Yesterday, we focused on Daniel’s faith in God. Today, let’s look in more detail at Daniel and how he lived his faith.
Daniel constantly focused on the sovereignty and eternal rule of God. Captivated by the majesty and glory of God, Daniel had no need to promote himself or massage his public image. Specifically, Daniel refused to take credit for his ability to interpret dreams, and he freely admitted his fears. He had no trouble admitting when he did not understand, and he confessed the sins of others as his own.
Because Daniel humbled himself before God, God used him to do great things. When we, like Daniel, are humble before God, He can and will do great things through us.
"Faith is a living and unshakable confidence, a belief in the grace of God so assured that a man would die a thousand deaths for its sake."
- Martin Luther
