”Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” (John 15:13 NKJV)
After all the presents have been opened, and the hymns are sung proclaiming the birth of Christ, the busyness ends, and the quietness begins.
Jesus Christ came into this world for the sole purpose of saving us from our sins. To do this, a perfect sacrifice had to be made. So He took our place and paid the price by dying on the Cross. He was born so that He could die for all of us.
Such amazing love!
"The very purpose of Christ's coming into the world was that he might offer up his life as a sacrifice for the sins of men. He came to die. This is the heart of Christmas." - Rev. Billy Graham
