In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. (1 John 4:9 ESV)
Every good thing comes from God, and God is eternal. We are all called to action as believers, so let your actions start with God. They will be of God, good, and blessed, bearing much fruit.
Our natural tendency is to be selfish, living for ourselves and seeking our own happiness. A great way to overcome that tendency is to start each day by offering ourselves to God and choosing to do His will over our own.
We are to live our lives as a branch, connected to God on the one end and bearing His fruit on the other end. Stay connected to God so that you don’t wither and die. Be a vessel of God in which He flows continually through you. Think of it as flow in and flow out: 100 percent receiving from God and 100 percent producing for God.
