May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13 ) 

There is a song we used to sing as children at church. Perhaps, you know it: 
“I’ve got peace like a river. I’ve got peace like a river. I’ve got peace like a river in my soul. 
I’ve got peace like a river; I’ve got peace like a river. I’ve got peace like a river in my soul. 
I’ve got love like an ocean. I’ve got love like an ocean. I’ve got love like an ocean in my soul…. 
I’ve got joy like a fountain. I’ve got joy like a fountain. I’ve got joy like a fountain in my soul…." 

Peace, love, and joy are all gifts from God. This song gives them the characteristics of constantly moving and life-giving water. Our lives are to reflect these gifts from God so that others may see and desire the same for themselves. 

Today, let us become like little children, trusting in the God of hope so that His peace, love, and joy can overflow in our hearts and touch the lives of everyone we meet.
