Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT)
In this season of thanksgiving, we are to reflect and be grateful for all the Lord has given us.
Today, the focus of our thankfulness is God’s presence and peace. These gifts from Him cannot be replicated or come from anyone else. There is nothing like sitting in the presence of the Lord and letting all the cares and worries of this life fade out of view and receiving His peace that passes all understanding.
Give thanks to God for His presence and peace in your quiet time and throughout the day.
“If there was ever a secret for unleashing God’s powerful peace in a situation, it’s developing a heart of true thanksgiving.” –Lysa Terkeurst
