Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10 KJV)

We can all recite The Lord's Prayer. Today the focus is on the will of God. In the prayer, we say "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." With those words, we are completely surrendering every aspect of our lives to Him.
This requires complete trust and choosing God's will above ours. It is our choice to obey Him instead of our desires. When we choose to surrender to His will, He puts everything into perspective and we can have lives of joy as He intends for us.
“There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, ‘Thy will be done,’ and those to whom God says, in the end, ‘Thy will be done.’ All that are in Hell, choose it. Without that self-choice there could be no Hell. No soul that seriously and constantly desires joy will ever miss it. Those who seek find. To those who knock it is opened.” - C. S. Lewis
